In order to solve various social problems the global corporate program "Caring Hands" was launched in 2005.
Our commercial success obliges us to contribute to regional development and to give back to the community. And we consistently comply with this principle, embodying it into practice through sponsorship, charity, as well as through our products and know-how.
When selecting projects we rely on such criteria as feasibility, transparency, and long-term effects. This means that selected projects have the potential to improve living conditions. Chances of success of these projects have to be high, and the results should be verifiable. Selected projects and partners should benefit children, young people or socially disadvantaged people.
In the course of this program Siemens Ukraine has supported a number of initiatives, including:
Support of organization of preventive seminars held by the fund "Save the Children and Adolescents of Ukraine from drugs"
Volunteering and financial support to the psychological rehabilitation camps for internally displaced children "Lisova Zastava" (Fund "Natsіonalne Vidrodzhennya")
Help in the implementation of the project "Holiday in Austria for 200 children of internally displaced people from eastern Ukraine" (Fund "SOS Children Villages Ukraine" with the support of the Austrian Embassy and Trade Mission of the Embassy of Austria)
Support of "Annual charity bazaar" organized by charity foundation “International Women's Club of Kyiv", aimed at raising funds to help orphanages and other social projects.
