Security Products, a business segment of Siemens Building Technologies Division, agreed on distribution cooperation with G4S for Greece

G4S will be the new distributor for Siemens access control, intrusion detection and CCTV products, starting on July 1, 2010.

Through this cooperation, Siemens aims to  strengthen  market penetration  in a fast changing market by utilising G4S’s established position as a distributor of Siemens high quality, innovation  and reliability products.

G4S is one world’s leading international security solutions group with global headquarters in London and local presence at Athens. In Greece, G4S approx. €36mWorldwide G4S has sales of £400m (approx. €485m).

Siemens emphasizes that the own Security Solutions business unit of the regional company, designated to provide complete security solutions to the market is not affected by this cooperation.

The Siemens Industry Sector (Erlangen, Germany) is the worldwide leading supplier of environmentally friendly production, transportation, building and lighting technologies. With integrated automation technologies and comprehensive industry-specific solutions, Siemens increases the productivity, efficiency and flexibility of its customers in the fields of industry and infrastructure.
