Siemens AG is active in Israel and area over 90 years.

Siemens Israel Ltd. was established in 2000 and is a fully owned company by Siemens AG representing the global company in the different leading essential infrastructure projects around the country.In the fields of energy, industry, health, transportation and water.

Siemens has a proven track record of about 20 years working with start-ups. Worldwide we partner with more than 20 start-ups every year and invest in more than €800 million in over 180 start-ups. In Israel we have next47, a unit representing Siemens AG in the start-up ecosystem.

Now days, the company is active in Israel in the fields of Research & Development, production, sales and holds four main units that employ around 600 employees.

Siemens offers a wide range of solutions and services in Israel, where its’ different divisions have significant positions: Power Generation & Services, Energy Management, Digital Factory, Process & Drive, Infrastructures and Mobility.

In the Energy world, Siemens is a leading supplier in the market in Israel and its rotating equipment produces more than 40 percent of the country’s electricity through involvement in Israel’s Electric company and private power plants. Siemens is also executing projects in the fields of energy systems and addresses the challenges in three areas: Connecting grids, Agility in Energy and Totally Integrated Power. Products, solutions and services from our Israeli division covers the entire chain in these areas of activity.

In the Field of Mobility Siemens Israel has provided the Israeli Railways 118 train wagons and is active in the different tenders offered these days.
